A major refurbishment project at Stratstone JLR Nottingham has now been completed on behalf of Lithia UK, transforming the existing facility into a modern premium aftersales environment designed around efficiency, technician workflow, and future vehicle requirements.
The redevelopment involved a complete strip out and refurbishment of the existing workshop, with extensive upgrades carried out throughout the site as part of the transformation.
The workshop has been transformed from a 12-bay facility into a significantly expanded 17-bay operation.
The redevelopment involved a complete strip out and refurbishment of the existing workshop, transforming the facility from a 10-bay workshop into a significantly expanded 17-bay operation with extensive upgrades carried out throughout the site. As part of the project, Everard supplied and installed multiple new vehicle lifts throughout the workshop, with a significant portion of the bays equipped with Rotary two-post lifts to support day-to-day servicing operations across the newly expanded facility.
A key feature of the installation included integrated EV charging directly mounted onto selected lift posts, with eight 7.5kW charger units fitted onto the Rotary lifts to support electric vehicle servicing within the bay itself. Combined with integrated workstation systems, the setup helps create a cleaner and more efficient working environment while preparing the workshop for the continued growth of EV vehicles.
Supporting infrastructure formed a major part of the overall project scope, including the installation of a complete fluid management system, waste oil system, compressed air distribution, and exhaust extraction throughout the workshop.
A new HPC Aircenter combined compressor, dryer, and receiver unit was also installed alongside a full ventilation package to support the upgraded facility requirements.
Workshop organisation and technician workflow were further enhanced through the installation of multiple workstation systems, including dual-shift workstations, specialist tool storage cabinets, repair benches, and chemical storage units configured specifically for the site layout and operational requirements.
The tyre bay was equipped with new tyre changing and wheel balancing equipment to support day-to-day servicing operations, while additional safety measures were incorporated throughout the facility, including dedicated EV fire blanket storage systems.

A modern customer reception area designed to reflect the premium standards of the facility.
The completed facility now delivers a significantly upgraded working environment for the Stratstone JLR Nottingham team, combining modern workshop infrastructure with EV-ready servicing bays and premium workshop equipment throughout.
A huge thank you to everybody involved throughout the redevelopment and installation process. We’re proud to have played a part in the transformation and wish the team every success in their newly refurbished facility.
