Why are workshops choosing the Bridgehill Fire Blanket?
The Bridgehill Car Fire Blanket is designed to handle the unique challenges of modern vehicle fires.
Car fires release intense heat and toxic fumes that can spread rapidly, especially in confined or high-risk spaces such as workshops. The Car Standard II Fire Blanket allows technicians to contain flames, smoke and fumes within seconds, reducing damage and keeping people safe.
Everard is proud to partner with Bridgehill to make this proven fire-safety technology available to workshops across the UK.
How It Works

Step 3 – Leave the fire blanket on
Ensure the fire blanket is sealed tightly against the ground on all sides. Do not attempt to remove it yourself—only trained firefighters should uncover the vehicle. When removing the blanket, it must always be pulled away from the car, never towards it.
In electric vehicle fires, the blanket should remain in place until the vehicle has been transported to a safe location and inspected with a thermal imaging camera to confirm that the temperature has dropped and the fire is fully extinguished.
