The Transparency Package
The whole package is published, so every engineer knows they’re on fair terms. Transparent. Fair. Industry leading.
Three open bands: under 2 years £32–37k · 2–6 years £36–42k · 6+ years £40–47k. Experience anywhere in the industry counts.
Unique in the industry: you’re paid from the moment you leave home until you’re back — and your lunchbreak is paid too.
Past your 45 contracted hours: time + ¼ weekdays, time + ½ Saturdays, double time Sundays and bank holidays.
23 days holiday + 8 bank holidays + 5 loyalty days — take the loyalty days, or get paid for the ones you don’t.
4% employer pension (above the statutory 3%), an EV salary sacrifice scheme, enhanced paternity pay and company sick pay.
A real 2025 example for an experienced engineer: £45k basic + £9.5k overtime, plus pension and the value of your leave.
Your workshop on wheels
Not a rusty Transit with a milk crate of spanners. Your van, set up properly from day one.
High-quality vans with air conditioning, maintained to manufacturer schedule and replaced at 6 years or 185,000 miles.
Every tool except your hand tools is provided. Insurance covers the lot, your own hand tools included.
A mobile and tablet to run jobs and reports on the move, plus a credit card — never out of pocket.
High-quality workwear and PPE, so you look the part and stay safe on site.
The annual Service Conference
Once a year, the whole service division comes off the road and gets together — to see where Everard is heading, get hands-on with what’s coming, and celebrate the people who’ve smashed it.
You’re never on your own
The support team is big for a reason. Whatever a job throws at you, there’s someone at Everard whose job is helping you win it.
Chris LawlerService director
The leader of service. The buck stops with Chris — and he runs the division on a simple rule: look after the engineers, and everything else follows.
John BellParts technical
The parts wizard. Need to know something about a specific part — or can’t find one anywhere? John’s your guy.
Lee NixonTraining manager
Your first week at Everard is with Lee, getting to grips with our systems and how we work. After that, the training carries on out on site, on the kit itself.
Ben RoweTechnical & product support
Leads technical and product support — the deep product knowledge on the end of the phone when a job gets interesting.
Seven service co-ordinators, running your day
They build your diary, route the right engineer to the right job and keep the customer in the loop — so you can just turn up and fix things.
Waiting on a part, a decision, an access code? They’re already chasing it before you’ve had to ask.
The Engineers’ Website
Part toolbox, part community — built by Everard engineers, for Everard engineers. You’ll be on it every day.
Order the parts you need in a few taps and keep your van stocked with the essentials — no phoning round, no waiting on the office.
Every part carries a compatibility chart, built up and submitted by your fellow engineers — plus manuals for the equipment you’re working on.
Study guides and fault fixes written by the engineers who solved them. It grows every week, and the top contributors get rewarded for it.
A parts operation built for scale
Behind the Engineers’ Website is a serious parts department — stocked deep, so you’re never left waiting on the obvious stuff.
