Atek Makina Infrared Rim Heater

When wheel straightening, the strength of the wheel material is important. Help reduce the stress on the wheel by heating it professionally, this helps lower the risk of weakening the wheel, or even help prevent cracking.

Specifically used in conjunction with the Atek Makina 5600 and 3600, this is to heat the wheel evenly to 60 degrees Celsius, and when the buckle has been identified, spot heat the area to 180 degrees. 

The design of this heater is to match the position on Atek Makina equipment, with additional height and span adjustment. The heat settings are adjustable, depending on if you need to heat the whole of the wheel, or spot heat the problematic areas. An integrated timer allows you to quickly setup an even heat, with your straightener spinning the wheel.

Heating the material allows it to be manipulated more easily, therefore putting the wheel material under less stress, but also increasing the efficiency and speed of your wheel straightening machine.
