High voltage electric vehicle battery extraction system, with self-supporting arm and Atex zone 2 rated fan:
1x 8m length of 280cm2 Aluminium rail section.
1x 200mm hose carriage.
1x Self-supporting extraction hood.
1x Atex Zone 2 Rated Extraction Fan
Associated ducting & installation materials.
Installation of above system, excluding electrical installation.
System designed to perform at 20m/s at hood.
Commissioning & testing.
The hydrogen extraction system cannot be combined with standard internal combustion engine extraction systems.
Safety instructions:
Hydrogen is extremely flammable. Hydrogen-air mixtures can ignite with very little energy input, in fact only one tenth of that required to ignite a gasoline-air mixture. For reference, an invisible spark or even a static spark from a human can cause ignition.
Hydrogen is non-toxic and does not harm the environment.
Respiratory or skin protection is not required.
Explosive limits of hydrogen in air ranges from about 4% to 75%. The ignition temperature in air is 560.C
Keep hydrogen away from sources of ignition, including electrostatic discharge, when handling. Mixtures with chlorine or fluorine are flammable through ultraviolet radiation (see chlorine oxyhydrogen).
Considerations should be given to the below points to work in conjunction with the extraction system:
Separation of the workplace by means of a conductive curtain (Not included within quoted costs)
The operator must also rule out the possible formation of oxyhydrogen.
