This summer we brought our entire engineering workforce together for two conferences at the iconic Silverstone. Across both events we welcomed more than 100 of our people, from our installation, service and tool calibration engineers to our pipefitters and groundworkers. It's the biggest gathering in our history, and a real reflection of how much the business has grown.
The team was based at Escapade Silverstone, the luxury trackside residences right beside the Grand Prix circuit. Everything was covered as a thank you to the team, all expenses paid, so everyone could simply arrive, relax and enjoy their time together.
The days were built around updates, training and open conversation. We heard from the heads of our departments on where the business is heading, alongside sessions on our processes, health and safety, and the latest technology shaping our workshops. We also made real time to listen, tackling the feedback our engineers raised head on.
No Everard conference would be complete without celebrating our people. We presented our team awards across categories including Engineers' Engineer of the Year, Training Engineer of the Year and Most Improved Second Engineer, before rounding things off with some well earned downtime together.
A huge thank you to everyone who took part. We're already looking ahead to next year, and after Silverstone, the bar has been set high.
