Last week, our entire service engineer fleet came together from across the country for our annual aftersales conference. The event, which took place over four days, marked a significant milestone as we welcomed 15 additional engineers due to our continued growth.

Our team of engineers gathered to engage in open dialogue, share ideas, and receive updates on company developments. Chris Lawler, our Service Director, noted the increased interaction compared to previous years, saying, “It’s been a lot more interactive than last year. We’ve had a lot more questions and genuine input from the team, which is fantastic.”

The event was structured to facilitate discussions, training sessions, and updates. Darren Spencer, Senior Sales Team Leader, remarked, “Everyone was looking and listening, which shows the high level of engagement. It’s beneficial to get everyone from across the country together to discuss our plans.”

James Everard, our Sales Director, highlighted the importance of open discussions, “We’re getting good feedback from the engineers on points we weren’t aware of. This helps us improve our processes and systems.” The collaborative atmosphere allowed for productive exchanges and the sharing of innovative ideas.

Our Fleet Manager, Jordan Eddom, played a crucial role in ensuring our team and their vehicles were well-prepared and supported. She made sure all the vehicles were stocked with everything needed and ensured they were operating at their best for our team.

The success of this year’s conference has set a positive tone for future events. Chris Lawler summed it up well, saying, “The feedback has been really good. Many of the engineers have expressed their excitement for next year’s conference, which is a testament to the value they find in these gatherings.” We are already analysing this year’s event and are working on how we can implement the changes discussed and improve the event next year.
