Everard is officially accredited as a Real Living Wage Employer, reinforcing our commitment to recognising the contribution our people make and ensuring they are fairly rewarded for the work they do.

The Real Living Wage is different from the government-set National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage. It is independently calculated each year by the Living Wage Foundation, based on what people actually need to earn to meet the real cost of living.
As an accredited Real Living Wage Employer, Everard has committed to ensuring that everyone working for us receives at least the Real Living Wage.
For us, this accreditation is about much more than meeting a particular pay rate. It reflects something we have believed for a long time: our people are fundamental to the success of our business, and their contribution should be recognised and fairly rewarded.
Good people deserve fair pay.

It really is as simple as that.![]()
Attracting good people is only part of the story. We also want Everard to be a place where people choose to stay, develop their skills and build their careers.
Fair pay is an important part of that commitment, alongside the opportunities we provide for training, development and career progression.
Across the business, we regularly review salaries and benefits to make sure the package we offer remains fair and competitive. Our Real Living Wage accreditation provides an additional, independent benchmark, and demonstrates our commitment to maintaining high standards as an employer.
The Real Living Wage is voluntary. Employers choose to become accredited and commit to paying rates based on the actual cost of living, rather than simply complying with the statutory minimum.
That distinction is important to us.
We want the people who work for Everard to know that their contribution is valued, whether they are just beginning their career with us or have been part of the business for many years.
It also means that when someone considers joining Everard, they can see that our commitment to fair pay isn't simply something we say. It is a commitment we have chosen to have independently recognised.
Achieving accreditation is something we're extremely proud of, but ultimately it is about the people behind it: our employees.
Their skills, knowledge, hard work and commitment are what make Everard successful, and investing in them is an investment in the future of our business.
We're proud to join thousands of organisations across the UK that have chosen to become accredited Real Living Wage Employers, and to play our part in supporting fair pay.
