Following severe flooding at BMW Swansea, the site was left needing a rapid solution to get back up and running. Within days, a temporary workshop was designed, prepared, and delivered — allowing the team to return to work with minimal disruption.

The response involved far more than a simple setup. Existing tyre equipment was relocated from the main workshop, along with a mid-size scissor lift, while the compressed air system was extended into the new space to support day-to-day operations.

Alongside this, six Rotary SPOA3TE lifts were prepared at our HQ before being transported and installed on site, with all lifts upgraded to wider AP configurations. Additional equipment included the installation of an MR30 mid-rise short platform scissor lift, a full bulk oil and waste oil system, water dispensing, and a complete exhaust extraction system, as well as Rousseau bench units to create a fully functional working environment.

All of this — including the design of the temporary workshop and preparation at HQ — was delivered in just three and a half days.

An amazing job! We've been able to open at 80% capacity within 5 days of a major flood, which we couldn't have done without your help.

This project was made possible by the combined effort of three Everard installation teams, working together to deliver at pace and under pressure.

From preparation at HQ through to final installation on site, the level of coordination, skill, and commitment shown throughout was exceptional. Transforming a space into a fully operational workshop in just a matter of days is no small task, and credit goes to everyone involved in making it happen.
